NOVA: Squadron of Hope is a retro arcade shooter developed for the Amiga using AMOS Professional.

Humanity’s last line of defense — a full squadron of 64 NOVA fighters — launches a desperate counterattack against a rising mechanical army that has consumed the outer colonies. Every mission brings new threats, metallic constructs, relentless waves of enemies and massive biomechanical bosses.

Inspired by Amiga classics like Project‑X, R‑Type, Turrican II, and Disposable Hero, NOVA blends fast action, metallic visuals and the unmistakable style of early‑90s shooters. Hand‑crafted pixel art, crisp explosions, and tight controls deliver an authentic retro experience on real Amiga hardware.
